Breast Cancer

Since 1997, Dr. Thompson has worked closely with a state of the art department of radiology, a sub-specialty trained breast pathologist, and with local and regional medical and radiation oncologists. Dr. Thompson maintains her certification and skills in general surgery.  She provides diagnostic upper and lower endoscopies, hernia repair, gallbladder removal, intestinal and skin surgery.  If there is need for a procedure outside of her comfort or skill range, then she has a well established referral network to rely upon.

Dr. Thompson is a board member of Let My Doctor Practice, a movement founded by United Physicians and Surgeons of America (UPSA) to restore the voice of the doctor to the practice of medicine. We believe in the sanctity of the doctor-patient relationship, the autonomy to practice medicine without restraint imposed by overreaching government and corporate entities, and, above all, that patient care and safety should never be compromised. Together, we will unite our voices to restore the practice of medicine to those who actually practice medicine. Learn more here.
